Since 2016 Public Health
There were no Lab facilities in our area for a long time. So even for small blood test, the public had to go to the town area. To overcome this problem, Sri Ramakrishna Seva Nilayam started VAIDYA SAI DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE, a free Diagnostic Centre, to help people in this area.
The project was started in December 2016. The project includes all kind of blood tests and Electrocardiography (ECG). The records, for every person visiting the centre, are maintained. Currently, the centre is operated from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The centre is closed on Sundays. This project is supported by a qualified technician for testing purpose and is assisted by a qualified Nurse for registration and record maintenance.
During the year '2024-2025', 2,208 persons (Male 1,543 & Female 665) benefitted through this centre. Altogether 6,915 tests (different kinds of blood tests & ECG) have been done.
The Diagnostic Centre at Sri Ramakrishna Seva Nilayam participates in the Christian Medical College [Vellore] External Quality Assurance Scheme (CMC EQAS). This highly respected, National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories' (NABL) accredited EQAS is run by CMC.
